How We Serve Our Community

Case Management

Our team supports the whole family, from the first day they connect, to identify goals, opportunities, and challenges. COMSA’s case management model of support ensures all individuals continue to make progress toward their goals of self-sufficiency in their new community. We collaborate with our partners to provide culturally responsive services to individuals and cultural training to partner staff in the areas of employment, housing, education and more.

Access to Healthcare

Many individuals arrive in Brown County after fleeing their homeland due to turmoil. After recently experiencing trauma, they’ve often been separated from family and friends. Many experience culture shock as they are new to our culture and systems. In collaboration with Bellin Health, COMSA’s full-time Health Navigator supports individuals with understanding and accessing the care they need to thrive.

Community Outreach & Education

COMSA is committed to educating area communities about immigrant cultures and the positive aspects of accepting them as fellow community members. They are our neighbors, co-workers, classmates, and friends. They are survivors. Strong, capable people who have persevered. Education and training develop a culturally responsive community that breaks down barriers, improves access to services, and builds a new community by helping individuals be understood and accepted by their neighbors.
