Help Us Match a National Award for Green Bay’s Culture of Health

The City of Green Bay has been named one of just nine recipients of the prestigious 2024 Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Culture of Health Prize, chosen from over 300 applicants nationwide. This national recognition highlights the city’s collective efforts to create a more just, healthy, and equitable community, led by four collaborating organizations: Wello, We All Rise, COMSA, and Casa ALBA Melanie.

The award includes a $250,000 unrestricted investment to be shared among these organizations. To build on this momentum, the partners are launching a $250,000 Community Match Campaign to double the impact of the prize and invest in transformational initiatives such as housing stabilization, youth mentorship, crisis response, mental health services, and culturally rooted healing.

Local businesses, foundations, and individuals are invited to join the movement and match this once-in-a-lifetime award. For more information or to get involved, contact Natalie Bomstad at natalie@wello.org.

Together, we can turn this recognition into long-lasting community change.
