Employment & skills development

The main goal of COMSA’s employment program is to make families and individuals self-sufficient and live a dignified life. Finding suitable income-generating employment is one of the life-saving opportunity for someone who moves to a new community. Often the employment process is a painstakingly difficulty process for newcomers. Fortunately, our organization has the right experience and network in finding proper employment for refugees and immigrant community members. We assist them throughout the employment seeking process, by helping them with completing both online and paperwork job application documents. We provide job readiness training programs to help the job seekers adapt to the employment culture in the United States. We also give cultural education training to prospective employers explaining to them the culture and traditions of the employees. Our organization also provides career counseling to school going and college students. We also provide job fairs in helping job-seekers meet with potential employers in the community.
