Education is one of the underserved needs that refugees and immigrants have. To best meet this need and help kids catch up where they may be behind in their grade level, COMSA provides a customized educational after school program for children grades K-12; both during the school year and during the summer vacation months.  These educational support programs also provide sports and recreation fun for children and teenagers that help them gain life-skills and a safe alternative to unhealthy or poor life choices.  Our strong programs are designed to help refugee students feel confident and supported as they pursue their education.  We are grateful for multiple community partners who send volunteer tutors for our after school program, including the Sturzl Center at St. Norbert College, UWGB, Bayport High School, and many others who volunteer and give their time and expertise.
